Why Full Spectrum?
The human has a system of receptors throughout the body that works with cannabinoids made in the body and plant made cannabinoids called the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). CBD, the primary cannabinoid in hemp, does not bind well to the receptors. But with the addition of THC found naturally at smaller concentrations in hemp, CBD binding improves.
And those aren’t the only two cannabinoids found in hemp. There are a number of molecules found naturally in hemp including other cannabinoids, terpenes and more that all work within the body to have beneficial effects.
Solventless Extraction
At Sweetwater Hemp Company, we use the cleanest method for extraction – ice and water. We have an onsite water softer and reverse osmosis water filtration system to create the cleanest water and ice possible for extraction.
Without using high heats, we preserve a lot of the compounds found in hemp that many other extraction processes degrade or destroy. This makes our products some of the most natural and cleanest full spectrum products available on the market today.
